Great structure, and depth of flavour highlighted with kiss of cayenne spiced chocolate cries for a partnership with rich smoky meat dishes. The influence of 52 percent new oak barrels stays behind the dark fruit tones of black cherry and blueberry and hints of chocolate and black licorice complement the pleasing mouth feel. Structure shows superb balance as splashes of Merlot provides fine-grained tannins and depth to the lingering flavors of raspberry, dusty plum and dark cherry.

Crafted in Del’s ‘Patience Program’: give red wines enough time in barrel and bottle, and let them tell their own story. All red wines are aged a minimum of 12 months in barrel and an additional 12 in bottle, prior to release. We use only french oak from a selection of coopers that through experimentation, we feel best compliment the fruit we grow in our Naramata farms.
